|
Exercises and games must be adapted according to the players' ability and age as well as the objective of the session, the number of players present and the equipment available.
The exercises suggested in the Soccer-Trainer software can and should be adapted according to the conditions and the players present.
Here are a few hints to help you make your exercises more effective :
- Adapt the game according to the success of an exercise.
- Increase the number of work-groups if there are too many players.
- Adapt the size of the fields and the games space according to the level.
- Make an exercise more or less difficult according to the players' ages and technical levels by :
Make an exercise less difficult by :
- increasing the game surface
- setting up protected areas (only one player at a time can enter a protected area)
- etc.
Make an exercise more difficult by :
- reducing the game surface
- limiting the number of authorized touches
- limiting the time of possession of the ball by a player
- etc.
General rules that must be respected for every exercise and game :
- all the players participate : if there are too many players, organize several fields
- avoid waiting lines : if there are too many players, increase the number of work-groups
- a maximum of repetitions in the shortest time possible
- time each exercise : they should not be too short or too long
The coach has to adapt as quickly as possible to make each game effective and interesting.
